Mission Skateboards 2-Year Anniversary Party
The Mission Sk8boards 2 Year Anniversary party last night was dope…from what I can remember. All I know is I got there a little late, had to finish up some paintings but when I got there, it was on. Good turn out. Saw alot of the usual Mission Sk8boards La Raza Park BBQ heads...D.Sarge, Arco, xavier, Skid, Chris Dunn, Pup of course, Young Cole, G-Man, FT, Jon Constantino came thru with his lady friend Joann, Eric from the Jaks Crew came thru, and I think I saw one of the JBs to, DJ TOPHone was spinnin’ on the wheels of steel…skate videos played all night…brews were abound…PBRs and Buds and buds. good times. good times.
Then everything gets a little fuzzy from there…by the end of the night I was sittin’ glued to one of the red chairs out front trying to stop 24th street from spinning in circles. Apparently not eating all day and all those PBRs didn’t mesh well for me…and I guess the smoking didn’t help matters niether. hehe. All I know is I was sitting there with my locs on in the middle of the night, holding my head and yaking into an empty PBR box. Boots from The Coup was in the neighborhood too and chopped it up while we were out front. I was apparently out of it for that tho’…and so was my camera.

Old Man Sesh today @ 2pm?

Memorial Day x Carnaval
Well…another busy weekend in the Bay. This weekend, it’s  the Memorial Day holiday and Carnaval falling on the same weekend. If you’re in the City sipping on cerveza, stop by Mission Skateboards, which is located smack dab in the middle of all the Carnaval festivities on 24th Street and Treat in the City (San Francisco for the uninformed).
But, be sure to park at least four or five blocks away…hell…me and G-Man parked over by that Catholic school on the other side of Army St…what the hell was the name…Al Sketch from Knoxx Life used to break his jump ramp out there back in the day…right across from the old Army Street Projects…anyways, we parked way down there and skated to the shop. I threw some pics from last year’s Carnaval…this year should be just as tight. The warm weather is coming back at just the right time.
So Sunday!!! Carnaval!!! 24th & Treat. And don’t call me, my phone’s still out…but you can text me. Trash still gets that shit. Have a good and safe weekend, old folks. -FT
